💧 Is the water safe to drink?

Yes! Sonadora uses well water, which is treated with an ultra-violet light and particle filtration system before entering the villas — making it safe for use. For drinking, we go a step further: we provide purified water via a reverse osmosis system, purified water containers, along with a complimentary case of bottled water upon your arrival.

🛡️ Is it safe to stay there?

Absolutely! As the owner, I’ve been coming to this area for over 30 years and have always felt completely safe. In fact, locals have gone out of their way to help us and our guests. Our grandchildren have spent their childhood exploring the beach freely — collecting shells and spotting turtles — without issue. In fact most of the time, you will not even see anyone. Sonadora is not only peaceful but incredibly special in every way, and that includes a strong sense of safety.

🌌 Is there nightlife nearby?

It may look different than you're used to. Nightlife at Sonadora means stargazing under a clear sky, reading a great book, enjoying deep conversations, playing games with your kids, and making real memories with the people you love. It’s a retreat from the rush.

🍽️ Do you offer meal service?

Yes, and it’s an incredible experience. Our private chef and assistant go far beyond cooking — they serve the love of food with every dish. From the flavors to the presentation, it’s a highlight of every guest’s stay.

🚗 How do I get there?

You can either rent a car — the roads are in good condition and we’ll provide easy-to-follow directions — or we can arrange a private shuttle from the airport to Sonadora and back. While you're here, we highly recommend renting an off-road vehicle (ATV) to explore the beautiful surroundings and friendly local communities.

🎣 How is the fishing?

Fishing here is always a great time — sometimes amazing catches, but always fun with plenty to do and see on the water. Sonadora has its own Sea Fox Commander Sportfisher, captained by one of the area’s best crews. We also offer snorkeling trips with lunch on a remote beach, sunset cruises, and seasonal whale watching tours.
