Yes! At Sonadora Resort, we use well water, which is treated with an ultra-violet light and particle filtration system before entering the villas — making it safe for use. For drinking, we go a step further: we provide purified water via a reverse osmosis system, refillable water containers, along with a complimentary case of bottled water upon your arrival.

Absolutely. Sonadora Resort is located in a quiet, peaceful area of Baja California Sur, and guests consistently describe it as calm and safe.

As the owner, I’ve been coming to this area for over 30 years and have always felt completely at ease. Locals are welcoming and supportive, and our own family, including our grandchildren, has spent countless hours exploring the beach freely.

🌌 Is there nightlife nearby?

Nightlife near Sonadora Resort is intentionally quiet and minimal. It may look different than you're used to. Nightlife means stargazing under a clear sky, reading a great book, enjoying deep conversations, playing games with your kids, and making real memories with the people you love. It’s a retreat from the rush.

🍽️ Do you offer meal service?

Yes. We offer private chef services during your stay. Our culinary team prepares fresh, thoughtfully crafted meals in your villa, and many guests describe the experience as a highlight of their time at Sonadora. Our chefs are happy to accommodate preferences and special requests, ensuring each meal reflects your tastes.

🚗 How do I get there?

Guests typically arrive via Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). We can arrange a private shuttle from the airport to Sonadora and back for a seamless arrival. If you prefer to drive, you may also rent a car (the roads are in good condition and we’ll provide easy-to-follow directions).

While you're here, we highly recommend renting an off-road vehicle (ATV) to explore the beautiful surroundings and friendly local communities.

🎣 How is the fishing?

Fishing at Sonadora is always memorable. We have our own Sea Fox Commander sportfishing boat, captained by one of the area’s most experienced crews. In addition to fishing trips, we also offer snorkeling excursions with lunch on a remote beach, sunset cruises, and seasonal whale watching.

🍕 Are there restaurants nearby?

Yes! Our manager, Cristian, can direct you to two great local spots — plus a beloved local pizza place with fun games and a warm, welcoming owner you'll love meeting.

Yes. Sonadora Resort welcomes, in fact loves, families and children! The property offers plenty of open space, beach access, and activities suitable for guests of all ages.

🍹 Is Sonadora adults-only?

Sonadora can be enjoyed as an adults-only experience as well. When the full property is reserved, the experience is entirely yours to shape, whether that’s an adults-only retreat, a family gathering, or a private group getaway.

Yes. Reliable Starlink Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

🏡 Can the villas be booked together for groups or retreats?

Yes. Both Sonadora villas can be reserved individually or together for private group trips, retreats, and celebrations. The entire property fits up to 19 guests.

🛒 Are groceries or provisioning available before arrival?

Yes. Pre-arrival grocery provisioning can be arranged so your villa is stocked when you arrive. Sonadora can pick-up whatever you require, or stop at the grocery store when you get here!
